Optical Tracking Mount Trailers (Catalog #06000-005) Contract: BAE Systems, NM; 3/05 - 12/05

EMI engineered and fabricated 4-wheel, tandem axle trailers with enclosures for BAE Systems to support their tracking mounts. The body of the trailers provide housing for electrical and mechanical equipment, and fold-up side platforms provide a working deck for expanded work space. The fiberglass enclosures mounted on the trailers were purchased, modified, and installed by EMI. 19-inch equipment racks were installed in storage compartments.

Optical Tracking System Trailer (Catalog #06000-003) Contract: Multitech Corp., Clearwater FL; 12/97-5/98

EMI completely engineered and manufactured three precision man-in-the-mount dual-axle optical tracking system trailers. EMI made provision for mounting the tracking equipment on the deck and designed accommodation for signal and power cable routing for the tracking system. Three storage boxes, one with interface panel, are provided. A removable 12 kva generator and 2,000 lb. capacity fold-down lift crane are mounted on the rear. Equipment and cabling were provided and installed by the customer.

Kineto Tracking Mount Trailers and Enclosures (Catalog #06000-002) Contract: White Sands Missile Range, NM; 4/92 - 7/92

EMI engineered and fabricated 4-wheel, tandem axle trailers with enclosures to support GFE tracking mounts. The body of the trailers provide housing for electrical and mechanical equipment, and fold-up side platforms provide a working deck for expanded work space. The fiberglass enclosures mounted on the trailers were purchased, modified, and installed by EMI. Power cable reel and 19-inch equipment racks were installed in storage compartments.

Mobile Cinetheodolite Mount (MCM) (Catalog #06000-001) Contract: White Sands Missile Range, NM; 9/87 - 3/90

EMI was under contract to WSMR to design and fabricate a new series of Mobile Cinetheodolite Mounts (MCMs) to transport their optical tracking instruments. EMI performed the engineering and fabricated and successfully tested the trailer systems. They consist of a 10-foot diameter fiberglass astrodome mounted on a trailer with a mechanism to raise and lower a $1M instrument through the trailer roof. The equipment mount rotates in synchronization with the astrodome aperature. Storage units were provided on the trailer. Twelve trailers were provided.

Kineto Tracking Mount (KTM) Shelters (Catalog #06000-004) Contract: Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ; 10/87 - 10/89

EMI contracted with YPG to design, fabricate, and install fiberglass panels to protect their optical tracking equipment during transport. EMI prepared the panels for installation onto GFE Kineto Tracking Mounts. The panels are provided with leg extensions and safety rails so that when folded down during camera operation, the panels can also serve as a work platform.
